Here’s a sneak peak of the YOKA PANDA  hand painted by MUNK ONE. Entitled “NSA WIRETAPPER” this design is a reference to the NSA (National Security Agency) acts of monitoring Internet traffic and phone calls of citizens of the United States without warrants in the name of state security. In an ongoing effort to secure Democratic hopeful Barack Obama’s presidential bid, The 008 and Upper Playground have collaborated with Munk One to create a new limited edition screenprint of the artist’s portrait of Obama. This design for UPPER PLAYGROUND by MUNK ONE called GUTS features a walrus that was dead and has returned from said place. A walrus always fights to the death. So the legend goes.

TRIBAL GEAR has updated their site with new designs for the spring/summer 08 season including this one called CALIFAS by MUNK ONE.

FIVE YEARS, a newer clothing line out of France has a new design by MUNK ONE to be released in April. MUNK ONE x FIVE YEARS printed on the back. On a side note, with this design I wanted to bring up the question of why certain rich people can survive an epidemic while millions of poor people continue to die. Just a thought.
